DAD

    HE'S NOT REALLY GONE,
    HE'S JUST OUT OF PAIN...
YOU CAN STILL FEEL HIS PRESENCE,
    IN THE SOFT, GENTLE RAIN...

     HE ENTERTAINED OTHERS...
     FOR SO MANY YEARS...
     MAKING THEM SMILE,
     AWAY ALL THEIR TEARS...

    THE MUSIC HE PLAYED,
    GAVE OTHERS A LIFT...
    HE PLAYED IT SO WELL,
    IT WAS GOD'S GIFT...

   HE'S GETTING SOME REST NOW,
   ON STREETS LINED WITH GOLD...
WHERE HE'LL WALK WITH THE LORD
   AND NEVER GROW OLD...

   REMEMBERING THE GOOD TIMES,
   WILL HELP YOU EACH DAY...
   HE'S NOT REALLY GONE,
   HE'S JUST A MEMORY AWAY...

   TELL HIM YOU LOVE HIM,
   BUT DON'T SAY GOODBYE...
   YOU'LL SEE HIM AGAIN,
IN THE SWEET BYE AND BYE...

   WE LOVE YOU!

My father passed away January 10th, 2002. I wasn't quite sure that I believed in the afterlife, until now. During the eight months after losing my Dad, I was so grief-stricken and sad that I found myself not caring about anything or anyone. On August 4th, 2002, I woke up crying from my sleep, to an overcast breezy day just like the weather my Dad liked. As I got ready for church that Sunday, still feeling so depressed I prayed to God and my Dad and asked if he could truly hear me and could show that he was still near me, to please send me a rainbow to validate his existence in the afterlife. I was desperate and sinking in spirit and could no longer find my way in life. My prayer was filled with this desperation and a cry for validation from God and my father. My Dad had been my best friend and our connection was very deep-rooted while he was living. I knew somewhere within me that our connection would never die, but the grief clouded this knowing.

After church I attended my granddaughter's birthday party and was unable to participate from my sadness. Afterwards, we drove to the Moselium where my Dad was laid to rest so that I could talk to him as I frequently did. After praying and talking to my father, we drove back home. As we got closer to home, I saw what appeared to be a rainbow in the sky over our neighborhood.

I got out of my car jumping up and down, yes!
I believe! I believe! The most magnificent, huge,
neon-color rainbow I had ever seen. The arch stretched high to the heavens beyond sight!
It was unbelievable! I knew this was just for me...
As I took pictures of this masterpiece, it started to disappear in front of my eyes. Heaven was just waiting for me to return home to show me that my prayer had been answered.

I was guided to open this spiritual healing store to help reach thousands of people who have lost their way. This store is a gift from heaven.
By the way, my Dad IS my business partner.

Dedication to my Dad
